What is happening this week!

Wednesday is Pizza Day! Please bring $3.00 and put in your teacher's envelope. Bring a fruit and a drink. There are no ice cream days this month. On Thursday the infant room will have their Holiday Party. See Ms. Dawn for more details.
It is a busy month, remember to stop and take time for little ones. There are some great books for children to give them an insight to the many meanings of this holiday. Have a great week!

Tis the Season of Giving...

We here at Childs Way are blessed among men and during this time of the year, we want to give back to those who have needs. This year we want to honor our troops in Iraq. We have adopted the men and women who are stationed in Mazul at Camp Diamondback and in Q West at Fob Endurance. Below are some of the things we will be sending. If you choose to help, please give these items to your teacher or there will be a box in the front of the school by Judys office.

We are collecting the following items:
Canned corn
Canned green beans
Canned mix vegetables
Canned potatoes
Canned spaghetti
Hamburger helper
Chicken helper
Asian dinners
(boxed dinners that are complete or they can add a little meat to)
Microwavable Dinners
Bisquick
Cream of mushroom soup
French fried onions
Rice
Thin (angel hair) pasta
Flavor packets for water
Spices
Tylenol/Advil
Gloves/mittens
Scarves

Pizza Day

Tomorrow - Thursday, December 4th is Pizza Day! Please provide a drink and fruit for your child. Pizza is $3.00 which includes small pizza and a COOKIE!

Parent's Night Out

This Friday, December 5th, will be our first Parent's Night Out this year. We still have openings. Ms. June will be the staff in charge for this evening. Cost for the evening is $35.00 for the first child, and $20.00 for each additional child. If you would like to bring your child or invite your friends, please let your teacher know asap!
We look forward to a fun evening.

Dear Sweet Families,

Remember we will be closed on November 26 - 28 for observance of Thanksgiving. Have a blessed holiday season! We will see you back at school on Monday, December 1st.

Things happening this week!

Tuesday will be a fun day! We have pizza and Mr. Mike the Zoo man will be here with his many interesting animals. Bookfair

Have you heard of the book "Build a Burrito?" it is a counting book in English and Spanish by Denise Vega. It is one of our great books at the bookfair! Come and check it out! We will be open tomorrow, November 13th at 8:30 a.m. and then at 1:30.

All proceeds will go to order more books to enhance our classroom.

Book Fair

The Book fair has been set up and is ready to start today at 8:30am in Ms. Tasia's room.
This is a great opportunity to get some books for your kids. Also, please don't miss the teachers' wish lists for books, posted in their classrooms!

Child's Way Garden Project

We are starting a garden project and want to start gettting a garden committee together.

The pumpkins are here!

It's pumpkin time again and the little ones have their own little pumpkin patch. The kids can take home two pumpkins for $3.00.

Our Harvest Parties are planned for October - please see your teacher's newsletter for details.
